Nam Nguyen, Founder and CEO
As chief executive officer, Nam leads the organization as a whole, developing business strategy, and leading the corporate management team. Nam established 3Nexus on the foundation of commitment to customer’s results.
Nam’s expertise in high profile commercial and government systems coupled with his passion to bring the best blend of seasoned US management and talented Vietnamese development teams are invaluable to 3Nexus’ customers.
Prior to establishing 3Nexus, Nam managed engineering teams in China, Vancouver, and Boston to support major Blackboard enterprise products with annual subscription revenue of $80 million. Nam also led and supported the development efforts in multiple large projects for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS,) IRS, NASA, and DoD at Northrop Grumman, CSC, ITT Industries, and IBM Corp. In 1999, he also started Superb Price LLC, an Internet company that applied web services to allow consumers to compare prices online.
Nam is a current PMP holder. Nam holds Bachelor of Computer Engineering from University of Maryland at College Park and Master of Computer Science from John Hopkins University.
John Scordos, Vice President of Operation
John bring to 3Nexus more than 24 years of executive management experience as Chief Technology Officer at United Press International, Business Director for the Washington Times Corp, Vice President of Operation at Ando Corporation, Vice President of Sales and Operations at Donjo, and Information Technology Director at Pennysaver Group, Inc.
John’s profile would not be complete without a long list of successful enterprise solutions implemented under his leadership. His solutions include enterprise resource planning (e.g.: ERP, SAP, Oracle, and Unisys), healthcare data management via HIPAA regulations, enterprise-wide web presence, corporate data via IP and cable and satellite, e-business (Oracle), network infrastructure (LAN, PBX, ISP) and more. His experience in managing direct employees located locally and remotely in Washington, New York , Japan , London is also invaluable to 3Nexus and its customers.
John has earned the trust and admiration of every single company where John worked by his work ethics, sincerity, and talents. John continues to bring 3Nexus’ clients and partners the outsourcing relationship that is much needed to succeed in today dynamic environment.
John earned his Bachelor degree in 1983 from University of Maryland.
Nina Du, Vice President of Business Development
Mentor and creditor for Nina Du's successful career is the late financier/philanthropist Paul Mellon. She was very fortunate to meet Mr. Mellon during her graduate study for a MBA. He supported and guided her all through her study and early part of her career. Through Mr. Mellon, Nina inherited the passion/compassion for humanitary and charitary works.
As 3Nexus VP of Business Development, Nina is in charge of development and execution of strategies for maintaining and growing 3Nexus existing clients while securing new opportunities.
Nina is also an advisor for prestigious organizations below:
- Advisor to PECF corp., Hersh Palmer Corp., Massachusett Mutual etc
- Advisor to the honorable Vincent Gray, the Chairman of the city council of the District of Columbia, Finance Committee
- Partner and advisor to the chairman and CEO of Jupiter Enterprise, head quarter in Hong Kong
In addition to her responsiblity, Nina's leadership is dedicated in supporting different charitary causes:
- Board member of DC Arc, chairman Resource Development Committee
- Board member of Covenant House Washington, chairman Finance Committee
- Board member of Walk for the Homeless
- Chairman of Board of Trustee of her church, the Greenbelt Baptist Church in Silver Spring
- Hero of the Year for raising more than 1 million each year for Walk for the Homeless in 1999, 2002, 2003, 2006
- Recipient of many awards for Nina's involvement in raising awareness for the youth at risk and underprivileged youth in the District of Columbia with Covenant House Washington
Rick Hernandez, Director of Technology
A beloved senior architect for 16 years leading many firms in the design and implementation of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA),
Rick has been a guest speaker to several Integration User Groups and forums across the nation in the following verticals: Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, State and Federal. His clients include mid-size and Fortune 500 firms like
State Street Bank, Bear Stearns, Citicorp Inc, VISA, Michelin US, March Incorporated, MARS Inc, Bell Helicopter, Northrop Grumman, Lockeed Martin, Edison, Duke Power, and other international firms.
