| RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Responsible for end-to-end design and development of the programs, processes and procedures to extract, cleanse, integrate, transform and load the data into an enterprise data warehouse.
- Design, develop, and administer reports and executive dashboards to support business requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and best practices to ensure data stored in the data warehouse environment is accurate and secure.
- Provide on-going administration and support of data warehouse, business intelligence, and reporting systems, including user and security administration, performance tuning, and application installation and upgrades.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and methods for enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence, enterprise resource planning, and reporting.

| QUALIFICATIONS |
- Minimum 4 years experience with data warehouse design and development.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with data warehouse architecture concepts including OLAP multi-dimensional systems, data marts, and data mining systems.
- Extensive experience with modeling, designing, and building star schema database structures.
- Experience with ETL design and development, including strong experience in source identification, mapping and implementing exception handling processes.
- Requires strong technical skills with Oracle database and development technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader.
- Experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder and ERP
- Experience with Oracle SQL tuning and optimizing SQL scripts for greater performance.
- Must possess strong communications skills and ability to work with minimal direction.

- Major areas of focus include but are not limited to Oracle Database 8i, 9i and 10g on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Analyze performance issues and recommend solutions.
- Pro-actively automate routine DBA tasks.
- Devise, execute, document and improve disaster recovery plans.
- Assist application developers with writing efficient SQL, and train them on the use of database tools, techniques and concepts.
- Review, recommend, test, and implement physical data model changes.
- Support production and development of Oracle database infrastructure.
- Create innovative solutions to address database performance, integrity, security and availability.
